An Intro

from Lucie Pankhurst

I started dancing cause music made me feel so much, I had to move!

​

I was a dancer, I loved it.   Worked hard, I had to, but then had opportunities to study with inspired and learned teachers. 

​

I became one of a group of humans who prioritise the significance of the physical and trust it to lead the way. Who trust the physical to communicate clearly many ideas and feelings that benefit being freed from words.  Sensual, rather than cerebral/ of the senses rather than of thoughts.

​

As my dancing days ran out, delighting in making dances for others overtook.  Creating moods, senses, shapes, events was a wonderful pursuit and for my own care, I rolled onto a Yoga mat. Life raft.  Magic carpet.

​

That roll brought an untangling and re-balancing.  It brings an on-going process of refreshment.  It’s a physical system that can align and restore the body so well it can better house  and calm the mind and the spirit.

  • Dance Flow: Each week, you'll get a new session that focuses on gentle, rhythmic movements to the beat of the music. These flows are designed to move your body, enhance flexibility, and keep you grooving - all while seated!

 

  • Yoga Flow: Complementing the Dance Flow, Lucie will guide you through a seated yoga breath session that includes fundamental postures and breath exercises to help you relax, reset, and recharge for the day ahead.
